Our Investment
In 2020, Capdesia entered into a partnership with TORIDOLL Holdings Corporation, a Tokyo Stock Exchange listed restaurant group with c. 1,700 restaurants and a presence in 40 countries, to develop their flagship brand Marugame Udon across Europe. The new company (Marugame Udon Europe) is headed by Keith Bird, one of Capdesia’s Operating Partners. Since the opening of the first store in Liverpool Street in 2021 the Company rapidly expanded its restaurants to 11 kitchens across London and won the Best Value Restaurant Group' Restaurant Magazine R200 Award Winner in 2022.
