Juan Martinez, PhD

Juan Martinez is a 31 year food service industry veteran and expert in restaurant engineering, improving unit economics and supporting healthier and faster growth. During his career, Juan spent 18 years in senior management roles at Burger King, including Director of Menu, Operations and Product R&D, and Director of Supply Management.

Juan has written over 100 articles in food service journals and Fast Casual Magazine websites and was recently inducted as a Fellow of The Culinary Institute of America.

He holds a BSc in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Georgia Tech, and an MSc and PhD in Engineering Management and Ergonomics from the University of Miami.
